OK! I know ya'll are dying to know how my cook off team did this past weekend at the world championships! We won 15th in the world in ribs! We won 12th in the wold in brisket! (I cooked it all night!) We didn't enter the other categories so we ended up with an overall score of 35th in the world. Not too shabby for 400 of the top BBQ teams from all over.

Good grief! I go away for a few days and you guys have a party here and a party there and a party planned! Whatsagirlgonnado? Well a girl could grab Joe, pick up Carold and head to the lake to join us at my house
GREAT idea, but is this next weekend??? March 12th??? If so, I have rodeo obligations, have to be on-call for the construction project at work (phase 1 is supposed to be complete and we are finally MOVING people after 8 months of delayed project!) PLUS I have my son flying in for a short visit with his mama - probably won't get to see him again until August, so I'm going to selfishly hoard every moment I can muster with him (we are going to go to the rodeo together a couple times and see Kid Rock and KISS while he's here!) Carold and Metalwing are gonna have to figure it out for themselves, apparently... But y'all can drink a beer for me and supervise those men-folk work. God knows I like to watch a man get hot and sweaty.... Ohhhh, baby! |

how soon does this boat dock have to come down. would it be better for more people if it was put off for another week It can be put off as long as it needs to be...but let's not worry about that...whoever can come on the 12...please come...we'll just do the Meet and Greet...this place isn't going anywhere, so if y'all want to do it again when more can come...that's ok too. |
