Its that time of year again, that single people dread. I wasn't lucky enough to find Mr. Valentine this year, but I'm accepting applications for next year! ;)

It's just another day, like spending Thanksgiving or Christmas alone in the past, but that's the way it has to be right now and I'm not gonna jump off a bridge over it. Life is good and I'm grateful for what I have.

They say Christmas is the most suicide ridden time of the year. In fact Christmas is one of the least as it turns out. Valentine's day on the other hand tragically is the most suicidal day of the year. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be a major bummer. I just thought it was an interesting fact. I'd love to apply for Valentine status. :)

I feel it's a tragedy that just because I'm single, I get no chocolate!! I do look at it this way, we all made it through the "couples holidays" unscathed. That means spring is coming!! The next major holiday is a "singles holiday," so get ready for St. Patricks Day!!

They say when you have nothing you dream of everything. They also say be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Alternately I've also heard Dream of everything, because you'll never get it. I guess it's a glass half-full or half empty kinda thing.

not a bummer. its just sad that some people think its better to end their life, rather than waiting for the right one. when we find the right one, the wait will have been worthwhile!

Life is good and I'm grateful for what I have. People really put valentine's day in a category with Thanksgiving or Christmas? It really isn't that big of a deal. If you don't have a date, go out with some friends. It doesn't have to be all about being single.
