Sarah Palin and Lady Gaga on the same page?

When it comes to expanding rights for gays and lesbians, the two powerful media mavens -- one on the left, one on the right -- appear to share some similar views.

On Friday, Lady Gaga will blanket the media to promote her new album, "Born This Way," which won't even be released until May 23. The title, which is also the first single released Friday, says it all, and the song is already being called a 21st century gay anthem by the likes of Sir Elton John.

Earlier this week, Sarah Palin restated that she supported GOProud, a self-identifying gay group, and that they should be included in this week's Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C.

I guess in politics , as in life, we can agree with some of things people say and do without being required to agree with all of them


I am all for 'gay' rights as well. I have a fundamentally different view however of marriage as a 'right'.

I don't are whether this is just political posturing, or if she's sincere. I'm pleased that she's promoting the 14th Amendment. Of course, Im more interested in what she does than what she says.

I would rather back them then have them back me. We are behind them all the way where I work. Our employers back us all the way where I work. I am just careful not to bend over in front of them.

Why not support the gays? Let them be allowed to share the same marital misery that we straight folks endured.

Palin has yet to prove herself credible enough to run for higher office. She's just a spokesperson.

I will back you all the way as long as you have my back.

I better back out of here before I get into trouble, again.
