I really don't hate the holidays, per se -- it's just that, like so many other things that people tend to focus on and talk about, they simply aren't relevant to me or my life at all.

Well Christmas is always hecktic, it seems to bring more stress then joy half the time. And as for Valentines day...in my defense I always get stuck with my girlfriends phoning me up complaining about how no body loves them, they hate being single, or their boyfriends didn't do this, or their husbands didn't do that. Hahahaha so maybe they need a hug lol

Most of these holidays have become too commercial and people have forgotten what they are all about. You go to the store right after Halloween and you can see the Halloween stuff on clearance, and isle or two for Thanksgiving, and all the Christmas stuff starting to come out already!

Exactly, We get burnt out on the holidays two months before they even get here.

I love all holidays! Make more holidays so I can celebrate more please!

I can never remember holidays. What holiday are we talking about?

Everyday can be a holiday, you just have to name it yourself. Friday and Humpday (Wednesday) are commonly celebrated now every week...lol

..sometimes with the commercialism i feel there are expectations made,like buy this box of chocolate,this heart necklace..or bear..pajamas..as if one should have to schuck out the bucks when time of ourselves can be the most important gift of all ...like spending time together playing "call of duty" on the x-box..(o.k yea the latter part about the x-box was nothing more than a feeble attempt at best..lol)..but ya get the picture..

..sometimes sentiment has the ability to over ride the fact that ...... "i'm broke bytch"..jk

Ya'll need to stop hating on the haters.

Holidays only suck when you aren't happy.

There are a lot of cranky people around the holidays. It's pretty sad, actually.

I hate the haters that hate the haters....However I will be loving me some Hooters on Valentines Day.
