Instinct? Definitely instinct over emotion. Emotions can get you hurt or killed. |

aren't emotions instinctive? sometimes... usually they are a reaction from a memory and have nothing to do with the situation at hand.. yes, but the reaction itself - the adrenaline rush - isn't it instinctive? - we feel fear to protect ourselves, anger as a warning. Happiness as a celebration. wouldn't we feel these things in the absence of a memory? I agree, I think often our reactions to our emotions, and how we handle things is based on our memory concious or not but the phyical response as the emotion isn't that instinctive? |

Both equusdancer I don't think you can train your physical emotional responses they are governed by your autonomic nervous system. altho it is possible to do so with our reactions to them |
