mug shots can be public record, maybe its easier to use the photos already available online so when somebody runs a background check they know the photos match..so no confusion

maybe their mugshots are the only pics they have????? Be careful Deb....I was approached by a guy on another site a few years ago and when I looked at his pic...his eyes looked evil to me and I blocked him...within just a few short weeks, he was profiled on America's Most Wanted....he had broken into an elderly couple's home and when they caught him...he killed them both. A girl from that same dating site ahd been talking to him online and turned him in....so if something you see makes you wonder in any manner....stay away!!!!!
