Topic: Your co-worker is a serial killer...

Just threw out a few applications and the personality tests struck me as odd since I study serial killers. I was reading through the questions and answering them just waiting for the one to ask me if I had ever killed anyone; strongly agree/disagree? Do people really think these things work?

If I was a sociopath, which I'm not, but if I were one...after some of these personality tests I could be working next to you plotting your demise, does that make you feel comfortable? Does it?!

...Off to my stoop, must check on some stuff...

You best assume they are all serial killers.
Those are the ones who sail through the tests,
then get the job.
They lick their lips when they talk to you.

A good sociopath can lie very articulately! Unless you can read minds divining a serial killer through interrogatives is useless. A good predator knows how to camouflage themselves.

This is why you must always carry protection.

look, I know weird people. just sit down and talk with them (with some s0rt of protection.) If them seem easily agitated or has an unpleasant "viber" around him then don't hire the guy, there's nothing legellay wrong with that.

evaluations of personality tests are based not on what you answer but the patterns that your answers reveal..a close observation of any personality test will disclose that you are actually answering the same 3 or 4 questions, just worded differently...its an interesting science..and yes, socio-paths are not hard to spot...since you are basicly talking about a self-centered, narcistic, egomaniac...most CEOs fall under that personality trait...

Yeah, a real personality test. These tests are the furthest from real that you can get, there is no pattern of answers. You just answer with the best possible answer otherwise you don't "pass."

They really are that simple, it isn't like Blockbuster or Best Buy cares about your personality. As long as you can work and your answers are "perfect" you are in.

I'm just saying that due to these "personality" tests you could very well be working next to the next Jeffrey Dahmer without knowing it.

Don't laugh... Fifteen years ago I did work with a serial killer. We all knew he was strange and seemed like he was never ''there'' when you spoke to him. He avoided eye contact at all costs and was just creepy.

One night he came into work with blood on his hand and his sleeve was a mess, a co-worker joked with him saying ''Hey Bob....that looks like blood all over your shirt...what have you been doing? Getting rid of a body?''....

Yeah two days later his brother told the police he help Bob dump the body of a prostitute in a dumpster a few blocks away from our job. All told, he killed five women (that he can remember) all prostitutes, that he would hire to party with him....and three of them were short red-heads...scared

does this mean I need to go back to blonde???

and Fear, yes, assessments of all kinds have flaws. People properly educated in the use and interpretation of assessments know this. - to pass you usually have to answer consistently and most people have that figured out by the third question...

Sweetest, he was asking co-workers if I liked to party...thankfully I don't or I could have been one of his victims.

frankly serial killers like to hide among their victims. It gives them a power rush. What is even scarier is that a lot of them have some oddly religious values yet claim to not be religious. they are smart enough usually to just be able to hide what they are until they act on prey which they take great pains to catch in a killing zone where they are alone with their victim. in rare cases serial killers operate in groups. I think it was Ted Bundy was the one who had a partner in crime.

Some of these killers make Hannibal Lector seem very abnormally normal for a cold blooded killer.
