trust, without it you can't have many of the other things it takes to sustain a relationship.

True, without trust a relationship could never reach the full potential of what it could be. A lot of chemistry could never make a relationship successful if you don't trust who you are with.

what do you think is the most important value in a relationship?. And thats providing THEY EACH,,respect themselves? If the above is all REAL,,,,,trust, and honesty, and Love,, will NEVER BE AN ISSUE..because their respect for each other cannot allow them to hurt their other in anyway,,w/o confronting them on any matter that makes them feel their actions, or their decisions might be at question in their others thoughts... Thats just my opinion here,,as Trust and honesty is in my mind the same antidote for respecting each other,,yet I have lived to know that some can think they love, but really don't feel a respect for their other?? |

I believe in communication. If a couple has open communication then it takes care of all honesty, infidelity, insecurity, trust issues, etc. A lot of problems can be prevented by just talking to each other. Something not many are willing to do anymore!! Then they wonder what went wrong in the relationship!!!

Trust and communication.
You trust me, I speak and you pretend to listen |

I speak and you pretend to listen I is real good at doing that!! |

Id have to agree with respect, both self and mutual
if thats there, the other will fall into play |

Acceptance. You must accept your SO for who they are, totally.

Acceptance. You must accept your SO for who they are, totally. I think this is important. While there maybe some things about the person that you don't like, you have to be able to decide if you can live with those things or not. Trying to change someone doesn't work out well. |

Trust and acceptance, you have to have both or you dont have a relationship.

Not patronizing a woman.
"Honey" would have me walking away, if a random guy did that. |
