i`m 5 8 without heels. try dating guys taller than you (in heels), for me is like mission impossible. I used to go for tall guys but right now im very much interested in a guy that is shorter than me. Give all guys a chance, you may miss out if you dont!

I'm 5'8 with no heels and prefer taller, but seem to have no luck finding someone taller. But I've only had one guy have issues with me wearing heels. The others didn't seem to care.

However, if it's a big deal, then the truth may suck, but is necessary. Lying hurts in the end, worse then the disappointment involved.

I don't think it is shallow at all! We all have our wants and desires when it comes to a mate. I do however think how you go about looking for a match matters! Some people use this "wants and desires" as an excuse to be rude. So as long as your cool about it who cares what others think! I do realize though some people just won't accept a subtle "no" and you have to be straight to the point! But I found that some of my best dates seemed like dud's until i went on them and vise versa! So keep an open mind and just enjoy as person to person and see where it goes!

No its not shallow; just a preference. That being said; I do like taller men too but wouldn't turn down a man because he was shorter. I am 5'8" without the heels and dated a guy that was 5'4". Its true that good things do come in smaller packages.

sounds like a simple preference, hopefully its not a mandate and if the right SHORTER man approaced with enough other qualities you were attracted to,,, that preference would probably fly out the window

No, it's not shallow, it's just your preference. I'm 5'6 and wear heels a lot so I understand your concern. But, if I end up falling in love with someone shorter, I'm going to be so happy I was able to fall in love with someone I'm not going to care about the height difference.

The bottom line is, do you feel a connection to someone or not? If you are not (even if it's because of the height factor) you just tell him you're not feeling anything for him and just want to be friends. "It" is either there or it's not. Good luck.

Yes weight can change so it is more than a physical characteristic. It also can show a part of ones personality or lifestyle unlike height. Height being a physical characteristic would think it would be more shallow not less IMO. Saying that I also don't like dating girls taller than me and have always had a thing for short girls.
