I just this last year got a JD 6400 with a front loader. A FRONT LOADER!! Oh man, that thing is awesome!!! Not to mention this is the first "cabbed" tractor I've ever had. It was great when I was pushing the snow out of the driveways last week.


Now, I will admit, I think the "funnest" tractor I ever got to work with was the little "Super C" my grandfather had when I was a kid. He started putting me in the seat of that when I was old enough to reach the petals. My mom literally has a pic of me coming back from the fields when I'm about nine. I had to point out to her that the tractor was still "running."

The first I learned to operate was a Case 580 backhoe when my parents bought 5 wooded acres that needed to be cleared! The ex hubby & I spent a week or so out there clearing, digging, and making a pad for the mobile home. I had so much fun :)

I ran a smaller backhoe when we moved out in the country to dig the water lines & build up the driveway and I have a pic when I got to move hay at the ranch that my ex BF worked at!
