Wow, that was one of the best I've seen yet.
Hello and welcome to the asylum. |

Not to Honest? (or) Up front ? Yes, too honest. I would lose the part about being a golfer :-) |

That was just mean!!! I’m trying to be serious about making it right... As for being a golfer, I hope to find someone who wouldn’t mind going a round or two here and there ;)

Just my opinion, here's my thoughts...
I would shorten it to leave only your main points you want to get across. Interested ladies will inquire about more and thus will write you to ask more about you! Things I would cut...anything negative! Such as how your previous sweetheart left you for a bad boy etc. This may scare away potentials thinking you are holding on to baggage. They want a man who has a clear mind and ready to focus on his future...not his past. Everyone has a history, and if they want to know yours they will ask. Main point: Keep it positive and optimistic...you'll attract the same in return. Good luck! |

Thanks for the sound advise! This was exactly what I was looking for. I see your point and will make the adjustments. Thanks again - Bob

I would lose the part about being a golfer :-) I've seen this advice more than once. Is there a segment of the population with a deep-seated hatred of golf? I'm pretty darned hippyish, yet I love golf. (It's just gotten to be too damned expensive). A lot of women like to play golf, too.

nice idea *Bumping* Actually 2 hours & 44 minutes bumping twice (replying is different) after posting makes you look desperate especially since the profile forum doesn't move that fast. I think it looks good except for the part about your daughter. Not to be offensive but right off the bat it makes it look like there is no room for another woman in your life because it's totally wrapped up in your daughter. That tends to put women off. Sure you want a woman who relates & get's along with your daughter. Just don't make it look like a competition. IMHO |
