Everything is partisan now days, everything!! Every issue has two sides to it. We need to draw lines and choose our sides. The days of two sides compromising to reach a goal are over. And they should be anyways!! No more compromise or giving in to the requests or demands of the opposing views!! Is there not anyone else who sees the same kind of desperate, zealot rhetoric in this post as exist in the minds of crazies like the shooter in AZ? The falsehoods and misinformation of people and groups like the Republican Party, The Tea Party, and Sarah Palin have created millions in this country with the same dangerous philosophy. No Partisanship, No compromising, draw a line, choose sides, and Reload. Don't these people understand that we are a country whose gov is set up to be ruled by majority? Don't they understand their views exist in the minority? Don't they understand how this talk creates fanatics like that of the AZ shooter? Fanatics who think violence will somehow put them in the majority or create an environment where fear is the rule. Is this kind of thinking even American? Speaking as a non-party person... Don't you realize that BOTH sides did these very same things you 'paint' upon one you appear to consider an opponent. Both sides used lies... Both sids used vehement language to describe one another and their opponents goals. Majority of americans are not on the LEFT or the RIGHT. The polls (all of them) show clearly that the MAJORITY of America resides squarly in the center. Want to talk falsehoods? Like claiming that HC will save money... After the numbers are fudged. (Fudge = spin = LIE) So hateful, telling folks that congresscare will save money, had to have caused someone to feel hated on that one.  Try telling people there are death panels to decide if someone is worthy of life. Or how about telling people that the president is a terrorist non citizen and with the Democrats is trying to turn this country into a communist nation. I can go on and on with the hatred and fearmongering from the right. The dems have done no such thing.
I never claimed that statemnt was 'hateful'... I said it was a LIE. and it is. do the math. ALL of the math not just the fudged math fed you by CBO and people with agendas. as far as hateful statements... They come from all sides of the political spectrum... all sides of the religious spectrum... all sides of the ideological spectrum... and many, many groups in between. I have watched the hate and (as was said) 'vitriol' increase little by little as each side battles for control of my country now for years... THIS COUNTRY DOES NOT BELONG TO EITHER PARTY. it belongs to us. AS far as the hate, anger, and (in my humble opinion) delibrate attempts to divide US with political tricks. I am sick and tired of it... I am sick and tired of the blame game... I am sick and tired of being told what I should or should not believe or what I can or can not say... I am sick and tired of listening to self-proclaimed experts tell me how I feel... I am sick and tired of self-proclaimed experts telling me how YOU feel... I am sick and tired of people without a clue telling me how 'the AMERICAN PEOPLE want 'this' or 'that'... or feel this way or that way... |

For what??...the Gun shop owners have done nothing wrong HAven't heard. But something I would like to know is why this guy wasn't red flagged before this. He dropped out of Mountain View high school and was disruptive while there. He was expelled from Pima College for his behavior and the military told him no way. When he applied to Pima they should have seen his high school transcripts and when he applied to the army they should have seen both school records and why didn't the FBI catch any of this? These are the questions that need addressed so hopefully in the future when somebody acts out they can get some intervention. |

He dropped out of Mountain View high school and was disruptive while there. He was expelled from Pima College for his behavior and the military told him no way. When he applied to Pima they should have seen his high school transcripts and when he applied to the army they should have seen both school records and why didn't the FBI catch any of this? These are the questions that need addressed so hopefully in the future when somebody acts out they can get some intervention. |

There was surveilance footage of him entering the safeway with an older gentleman who turned out to the cab driver who drove him to the store. He followed him inside because Loughen owed him some fare money and was getting it in the store. |

Here is what the Pima County Sheriff said today, January 9, at the press conference: “I think that when the rhetoric about hatred, about mistrust of government, about paranoia of how government operates, and to try to inflame the public on a daily basis 24 hours a day, 7 days a week has an impact especially on people who are unbalanced personalities to begin with.” I think there are lot of people out there thinking the same thing as this Arizona Sheriff....this country really needs to tone down all the hate talk. Definitely right. Hatred effects all that are exposed to it. There are many more out there just like this shooter who are eating up this hatred spewed by the right and will act on it eventually. Hopefully noone will get hurt next time. The left is not without blame #1, #2 words have nothing to do with happened, the blame stops with a psychotic paranoid jackass. But I am not shocked that people are gonna throw blame, shows a lack of class in this time of tragedy. That may be how the right wing wish it to be but alas it is not that way. Hatred and fearmongering is the method of madness of the right. I know that is how the right wants to spin it. The spin from the right will be quite interesting in the days and weeks to come. Hatred and fearmongering have been the way for the right, they can't deny it.  exactly...

He also had madew it clear that he was hateful and he wanted to kill....but the left continually disregards the safety of the public to ensure that an individuals rights dont get trampled on. They would rather see mass murders happen, than to make one person feel "offended". Just like when Obama covered for, and gave excuses for the Ft. Hood shooter...clearly trying to "protect" him and his rights. |

By the way where were all the "good" gun carryers that are supposed to save the innocent in this situation???
If there was someone who would have taken the guy out, we already know that you'd then be screaming about someone killing him. And spewing your stuff about how two wrongs dont make a right, yada yada yada. So, would you really have wanted somebody else to take the guy out?? |

Laughners videos and postings could be posted right along with yours and others without a discernible difference be noted by the general public. Gifford's policies were nowhere near to a right wing hate filled ideology. She just won a very close and hate-filled election against a Tea-Party candidate. Most of the threats she received came due to her very vocal stance for HC and granting amnesty to illegal immigrants. Yet you think these came from the left. One of Laughner's biggest peaves was the number of English illiterate illegals living in his community. Yet you think he was left. Laughner looked up to Sarah Palin for inspiration,. Yet you see no connection in the target poster on her face book page and Laughners actions. Once again. How old are you, and do your parents realize that you are posting this crap on the Internet? |
