How did you start the new year? Hung over and glad, hung over and sick/sad? Invigorated and ready for a fresh start? Just another day? Or something else entirely?
Tell all. I was awakened by snow shoveling at 4:20am. Then several cups of tea and email. An amazing walk during Spring like weather, dinner of grilled steak with my folks. Not a dream day but not bad either! |

Sounds like you had a very nice day!
My New Year's Day was very nice as well. A good 2 mile walk, a 2 hour nap, some grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, reading and watching the premiere of OWN.

Although I'm kind of sick right now, I had a great day. After
toasting the new year with some bubbly (Pepsi and Mt. Dew) with the kids last night after watching a couple movies, we continued today with just hanging out, watching movies, laughing, and enjoying each other's company.

No  . I RARELY buy any soda, cookies, candy, ice cream,
etc., except for special occasions, and since none of us drink (they're underage anyway), I figured it would be a nice treat to toast with. I got small bottles of both because three of them like the Dew, and one and myself like Pepsi. I only had a half-glass myself, I've been sick for the past two days with a sinus infection, which should be done by Monday. Even as a kid I never really cared for sweets that much. |

It was an average good day for me. I brushed up on my poker today.

Not so good. I think I am breaking up with my live in. My heart is broken but maybe it is for the best he is 12 years younger than me and I think he is on drugs.

I slept in and relaxed. No hangover! It was a nice day.

sorry to hear that Julie. I hope 2011 is a brighter fuller year of love and happiness! aw thanks. yesterday was hard, so is today, no one to talk with but because of this site I feel a little better. Ya know it just gets so hard after awhile, I am old as the hills, 40 now, never married and no kids so I think I am an odditity that no man can handle. smiles |

Well u dont look in ur 40's! I be there in a year and a half! yikes! If u ever need someone to talk to i am here for u. I know how hard break ups are. And i know how being alone is even harder. Just a regular day some cleaning, reading and went to store. Other wise was in PJ's the rest of the day being lazy.
