DO YOU LOVE YOU? By George L. Coleman, Author – TO HELL WITH HELL- Starvation And The Church Do you love yourself? If you don’t, then you don’t love me either. Because it has been accepted at all levels of Psychologist and Psychiatrists, whose training is studying and understanding how we humans think and respond to thoughts and feelings. I can accept it or reject it. . On the issue of Loving Yourself, I’m in total agreement with their findings because I have experienced both sides of that equation. Love can be described and defined in many ways I’m sure, but the love I’m referring to is the love that one feels for another human being as well as themselves. Love can mean many things to different people so I will define the love that I’m talking about. The love I have accepted for myself and others involves respect, forgiveness, selflessness, totally accepting yourself and others for who they are this moment of time without dragging up old bones and situations. Who I am today is a result of all my yesterdays, without which I wouldn’t have a clue about me today. Without regard to why, it’s peaceful to accept yourself and others as being important as to you and others this moment. Yes, yesterday is involved and has helped form today, but is not identified solely by one’s past adventures and endeavors. Only when you accept yourself as being a creation of divinity can you expect to accept others and be at peace within yourself. There’s no other greater feeling than inner peace, which is obtainable and certainly recommended as a way of life and thinking. As you think, you are. That’s not my coined phrase but is one that I believe to be an invitation for thought. Check it out for yourself. Stop to think what YOU think about most, and it’s very likely you’ll discover the truth of that statement. Therefore; if you want to be loved -love. When you think love – you’ll most likely be in a state of mind that love can not only survive but thrive. It’s all in your head. Whatever you want to think, you do. Do you want to change the way you think? Then just do it. This is probably the most simple and interesting method of changing one’s life. You can do it and I know because I’ve done it myself. You can love yourself so that you can love others or you can fail to love yourself and thereby you CANNOT love others. YES. IT’S THAT SIMPLE. I have found that simplicity without judgment is the very core of having inner peace. |

I love who I am, as I am IAM,,,,lol
But YES,,all jokes aside,,I am proud of me and the person I LIVE,,and ACT, and AM,,,,,,,,,,,,,,ME... I work to ALWAYS be better and to NEVER THINK,,I am at my GOD'S BEST,,but to know myself and my reasoning and my essence of me,,YES,I do and thats that INNER PEACE of ME,,who I project to everyone I meet..SO THEY,,can FEEL THAT,,and possibly KNOW THEIR'S... |

Absolutely. That's why I won't settle for anyone treating me badly
or taking me for granted. I deserve the same decency, honesty, and respect that I show others. If not, I call them out, still not... they...are...GONE. Not that I think I'm anything great, but I am a good person, been told I'm "too nice", and the one everyone else always comes to for help, advice, and comfort, so I don't think it's a stretch to not treat me like crap or f**k me over, eh? |

Not sounding egotestical.
Yes. I Love myself. I have The AGAPE Love of God in me. That is why I am able to Love other people. |

For myself, I can only say that in order to be able to truly dislike someone, you must first learn how to dislike your own self.

No. I do not like myself at all. Now that I think of it that's why I don't take care of myself and sit on the forums all day rather than going out and getting exorcise!

Not sounding egotestical. Yes. I Love myself. I have The AGAPE Love of God in me. That is why I am able to Love other people. People suck! I used to do phone work. I sat on the phone and talked to all sorts of people. I got Cussed at,sexualy harrased, cut off mid sentance, threatened, and made fun of. One woman put the kids in the house on the phone and had them swear at me. Since then I have lived by the thinking of people suck until proven otherwise. Some people are nice which is why I say Until proven otherwise. Don't believe me? Try phone work. Or go on the general religion forum and see the haters. |

Don't believe me? Try phone work. I know. I was always siding with the poor suckers who tried to make a living and feed their children and selves by trying to sell subscriptions or anything on the phone. It is a most thankless job, because not only do you encounter the worst from people, but also because making money that way is impossible. You get one point for each sale, and ten points add up to golden point. Seven golden points add up to a red star, and fifteen red stars get you a golden star. You get paid $10 an for each our that you achieve your quota of 15,000 golden stars in the week. So isntead of laughing along with my friends who regaled tales of how they pissed off telemarketers, and listening to friend's phone messages say "this person's mailbox is full", coz their mailbox received nothing but telemarketeer's calls, I told everyone the cure to pesky phone calls that present like every other: with the phone ringing, only to find it's not a long-lost child or a new exciting lover-wanna-be, but someone who thinks you should upgrade your toilet brush collection. I said, "please say, clearly and nicely, without anger and hopefully with some kindness in your voice, 'caller, please take my name and number off your lists.'" This worked miracles. Event those marketeers who did not answer "yes" or such, complied. I never recieved any telemarket calls for decades, other than the initial ones. For months at a stretch this translated to no calls, whatsoever from marketeers. My friends heard me out, nodded, and did not take my advice. There is just one kind of marketeer-type behaviour I could not stop: collection agencies. A woman called Phyllis kept making pledges to charitable services with my phone, for years. Another woman, Mrs. Strathearn, owed $343.22 to a department store. People looking for these two ladies to collect from them made up the bulk of my weekly calls at times. This is how this works: 1. Phyllis makes a debt. 2. Debtor calls three times in one week, I explain she is not here, this is not her number. 3. Debtor hires collection agency. 4. Collections agency calles seven times in one week, three times by a junior agent, twice by a senior agent, and twice by the shrewdest fox in the department. I turn each away. 5. Three months of quiet. No phone calls for Phyllis. 6. 4. repeats. 7. 5. repeats. 8. 4. and 5. repeats ad infinitum. 8. happens because the list of known past numbers of Phyllis is passed on from one collection agency to the other, and each collection agency calls all available one-time numbers of Phyllis. They start at the top, and each agency goes through every number, and if they can't collect, they sell the person to a hungrier collection agency. I lived throught his with Phyllis for seven years. At the twenty-fifth round, I lost my patience. I told the collection person, please, sir, listen: You all go through the same numbers that are handed to you. Phyllis has X sets of phone numbers, and she's not very likely to wind up with the same number that she had seven years ago. So you can stop calling this number, and please strike this number from your list of numbers for Phyllis before you pass the list on. I mean, if twenty-four collection agencies did not find Phyllis here, chances are that even if she was here and vigilantly denied it eacht time, she would falter at least once in twenty five years, and if she did not falter, she would never falter. I said, it's just stupid to have go through the routine, when twenty-four companies just like you already called. This explanation I had to give twice. I spoke both times very quickly, in an agitated voice, but not swearing. The second time the collector wanted to get off, apologetically, but I did not let her go, I said, please wait, I want you to hear me out. I talked to her fast in an agitated, loud voice, trying to convice her of my logic's infallibility, and eventually I let her go, after making her swear to me by the Bible to strike my number from the list the first chance she got. No more calls for Phyllis. So yes, people can be rude to telephone workers, and there are 244 other psychologically reasonable (but not excusable) causes for that; however, it takes two to tango, and people are less likely to be rude to people they like and approve them for what they do. People are nasty to phone workers, and it's the voice of we, the People, and our voice is communicating to the phone workers to give up that job. It's not personal, but it is aimed at a group who makes their living by pestering other people incessantly and without mercy for their privacy. Very much like the drug users are innocently punished for their habits, like phone workers are punished for their line of work, yet the justice system (police against the druggies, public's attitude against the phone workers) clamps down on them, with no regard to their innocence and well-meaning intentions. You see, marketing and drug use are battled at the most available front of their to the public, and interestingly both systems can be stopped by eradicating any ONE of the links in their business chains: Drug use can be eradicated by eliminating drug planatations and processing, or by eliminating traffic, or by eliminating dealers, or by eliminating pushers, or by eliminating users. The business of telemarketing can be eliminated by eliminating businesses, or by eliminating executives who give the order to do telemarkets, or by eliminating telemarketing departmengs, or by eliminating telemarketeers, which the public very vehemently tries, by being rude to them, since that is the only link in the chain that they are able to affect and get eliminated. By being so rude to each and every telemarketeer, that they each quit their jobs in disgust, and thus there will be nobody left to do the job. Much like if all drug users were put into prisons, the dealers, trafficers and growers would be unable to sell their products, and therefore be forced to go out of business. |

Don't stay so bitter that you build up a wall around yourself that no one can break through! As much as I have been hurt by the bad people I have known, I am very blessed to love the ones that are worth it and would take 100 more bad ones for each true friend that I do have! |

I am in total and utter love with myself.
In fact, the only people whom I love more than myself are my offspring. |

No, I'm not into self-love; it's too narcissistic for me. I'd rather love somebody else.
