I have had 165 mph here on my property right at the coast. Few years back. Took down a couple trees is all. Oh, and I have missing roofing :-) |

165mph winds?? that's craaazy!!! and here i've been complaining about these 45mph gusts we've had for the past two days, tis but a breeze!!

We call those Hurricanes down here in Texas! When Rita hit in '05 she spun tornados off every which way & it really tore chit up. Caused Entergy the biggest loss in telephone poles in it's history-LOL! Literally, twisted and snapped trees that were a century old. Luckily, my Dad's neighbor took his tractor & chainsaw when he evacuated and cut a path down the road so people could get to their homes! My Dad stayed & got effed up on his meds & set himself on fire not long after Mom & I got back (just as we were dozing off)! The horses were in the neighbors yard that hated horses-LOL- he was a mean old B@sterd anyhow! |
