work should provide income where needed and where not needed it should still result in PROGRESSION or RESULTS o some sort


Id say selling something for 5 bucks that costs you ten bucks to make is nonsense

Free of cost is a standard promotional to grow the customer base and provide an inlet for for that company name into a market where you need to stand out to succeed. It is easily written off as a business expense to help out on taxes. Any business selling any product can expect an inventory loss rate of at least 3% due to damaged in some way. Might as well use some of that percentage for freebies. That is great advertising.

That is the exact reason why corporate charitable contributions happen.

So let me get this straight. People are giving free chit away? Where exactly do you go to this forementioned free chit.........

Flipping burgers anyone? That is as non sense as you can get. It should be giving back to humanity and not have people complain about what you are doing. Ugh!!!

There is a KILLER coupon app for my android...turns the phone into a scanner and pulls up any coupons available for the store you are in....the coupon displays on the phone and the cashier scans it. (Your phone) LOTS of free give aways / 2 for 1 / 40% any one item....etc

Go hit the next home and garden show in your area....you will come home with bags of free stuff. (A lot of it is pretty cool too)

Gotta respectfully disagree with you there my good man. Flipping burgers is honest work that feeds families. Sure the work is menial. Often the conditions are hard and working a kitchen at a fast pace aint neccessarily easy. But, more often than not, it is a stepping stone that actually helps people want to do more than just flipping burgers. It was just part of the experience. Fast food is not for everyone....I did it...wasnt my thing but...it was time where I worked hard and barely scraped by....but it kept me fed.

yes anything you have to do twice or thrice when once is really enough. Anything that keeps a customer waiting that can be done at another time - bad ideas - both

It just happens that the only job I was able (so far) to find after moving is in a convenience store which includes gas sales and a full deli. All of it is hard, fast paced work that never ends. For me 'flipping burgers' - all the deli work is the worst. Orders backed up and they keep coming in...I am a very good cook at home but deli cooking, fast food too I imagine, is a very different kind of way of getting food to people.

Last night we had a woman drive off with the nozzle still in her tank and she hadn't even pumped the gas she pre-paid for...whoops guess that is a different topic! Made for a crazy evening though, what with the fire trucks and all...

I think it is nonsense work to wash my car, isn't it going to get dirty by the time I drive to the end of the block? I do try to keep the road salt from damaging it but beyond that - nonsense work!


Hmmm, come to think about it I guess all cleaning is nonsense work then but I keep a clean house...can't relax with clutter, dirt etc...just don't care if my car is clean. Guess that is the place I let the slob in me come out to play!
