Do u agree with the banning of menthol cigs. And not the full flavor cigs?
Hell no!!
Haven't heard anything about it. What I do know is that the smoking laws seem out of hand to me and the taxes we pay are crazy!!
I can't see KOOL or the makers of other menthol smokes letting this happen... |

Not really.........
NOOOOOOOOOO!

Hummm since I no longer smoke guess it really does not make a difference to me....
But honestly I don't see that happening ...............what is so different from the menthol cigs then the flavored ones? They would have to really come out with some hard core evidence proving they were a hazardous to ones health before that law ever stuck..... |

If u look it up on yahoo there trying to get it done by jan. 2012

I still don't see it happening. For if it does they will surface by being brought in illegally.
Which in the long run would cause increase in smuggling and more money for the black market. Causing less taxes for the government which would put a lot of major company's hurting due to sales because 1/3 of the cigarettes sold are Menthol...... People will still buy them they just will get them through the black market instead... Not a bright move for it will not cause people to stop smoking only to go about it illegally. |

I can take orders and get them out of Mexico.
At a price, that is. |
Man, I may be coming to you for them soon Willing

No lets just ban the regular. Not really. How about a ban on politicians.

Thank goodness I quit smoking recently, but feel like I have a cold waking up congested every morning. Of course, it doesn't stick around like a cold does.......just glad it is getting out of my system

First I heard of it.

So what's their excuse this time?

Menthol cigs are used largely by young people and are popular among african americans - but I think they are trying to attack their use
by adolescents. see: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/03/30/AR2010033003742.html |

So (yet again) they're trying to altogether ban something that's already only legal for adults, in order to keep it out of children's hands.
Welcome to the United States of Disney. |

Maybe the feds should just raise the legal age to smoke one year every year til all the smokers are dead. That would gradually reduce the demand over a long period.
