ughhhhhhhh. three pages and you guys have yet to answer my damn question. It's not hard, your just not seeing it. Most walls are a foot thick Now you just have to pick |
well it can to some extent. what you would most likely have to do is build the wall twice with about two to three inches of space between the two walls. they can be tied together with brick ties going from one side to the other, but really your labor and material cost will also be twice as much. you can also use rebar risers coming out of the concrete footing to help strengthen it. |
so two feet thick.

no. 8 to 10in. total

so two feet thick. Do yourself a favor and talk to the person that is going to build it or whoever your going to get to bid on it. Your inner locking blocks would be the best and least expensive. |
he said one foot.
and you said double it. |
this garden will not be built.
it'll be built at a one to four scale. which means i'm just making this wall out of clay. i just need to know what i should scale it down to. and money is not an issue. pretend this garden is suppose to be for a millionaire. |

if a normal brick is 2 1/2in thick, but you build two of them (parallel to each other) with 2 to 3 inches of space between them, what do you come up with?
so eight inches.
six foot wall. and no one will die. |

There is over a hundred pictures to look at. |

probably not....if you reinforce it with something (rebar) tied into the footing.
