Romance is so very important. You just want to do the most simple to the most amazing things for your love, your lover, your friend. I just prefer sober

Romance is doing lil surprise things, Like picking a flower from a garden and giving it to them. Leaving little notes in unexpected places (bathroom mirror, inside shoes, in refrigerator). Sending texts that say "I can;t wait to see you" Small touched and caresses
Any small gesture you do because you care. Is meaningful. |

I stopped at the floral shop, asked if they had any roses they were ready to toss out and purchased them at a discounted price. Then I picked up everything I would need to make one fruit tray and one tray with cheese/crackers. Then I took it all home.
I had purchased two soft, fluffy robes earlier in the week and I left his wrapped up on a table near the front door with a note telling him to follow the rose petal trail. Then I removed the petals from the roses and scattered them from the front door to the bathroom where I filled the tub with hot water, lit the candles, and scattered some of the petals into the water. He joined me in the bath when he arrived and afterward we spent several hours on the living room floor (which I had covered with pillows/blankets) for our 'midnight picnic'. Surprisingly enough, it really didn't take very long to throw this all together and he was very appreciative. So, the gratitude made it all worthwhile. |

My question is why do you take pics of that? Was that meant for a reminder to her? We all know, you can be with a woman for 70 years, be the most romantic, nicest, sweetest guy in the world every day and she'll forget. Leave the toilet seat up ONE time and she'll never let YOU forget! True about the toilet xD Really want to know huh? I did that so I could remember... That I was romantic... Now I just can't think of doing something like that again... Maybe someday... |

Took a perfect sunset picture from the exact location we first made love, added an original verse ( that can be found in the creative writing forum under " Friendship's Journey") placed it in a hand made oak frame and gave it to here for Valentines day.
She asked me to reprint the picture without the verse, never displayed it, and within a couple of weeks replaced the picture with one of her and another guy. Who says romance is dead. |
