Ok ... lets do some maths

lets assume there are 20 million illegal immigrants in the US

Lets assume they sent home $45 billion in 2006 ...

Lets assume that one hundred million is one billion (cos in the UK is it isnt)

That means each of the illegal immigrants sent home a whopping $225 in one year.

That is 62 cents a day per person

If a pack of cigarettes in the UK cost over £5.00 a pack of 20, that is US$10 a pack.

That is 22 packs of cigarettes sent home per person per year.

There must be people who smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, therefore 3 weeks cigarettes is what the average illegal immigrant sends home to his family!

... and you begrudge him this amount of money, when you smoke more than this in a month!

Ah Belushi you know what they say about assumptions. The fact is the U.S. cannot continue to support an influx of illegal aliens. Further the propaganda that they are all working as slave wages. Some are, and then there are a bunch that are working at very good wages in the construction industry and elsewhere. The amount of money that illegal aliens send back to Mexico is Mexico's second largest source of income. It isn't pennies like you profess. Once again if they want to come here legally and work, welcome to America but don't commit a crime by coming here and expect people to support you.
