The following video is of a reporter asking Obama supporters if Obama is a Keynesian because of a sign someone is holding that says, Obama = Keynesian? Remember, Keynesian economics means simply government stimulus spending.

Listen to the libtards' responses. This is the level of intelligence that we're up against.

ignorance and stupidity are not the same thing, I dont recall in government EVER being taught the word nor have most americans and the error is alot easier to understand because of the spelling

a funny bit though, true to stewart/colby satire,,,

First of all Keynes was British. So, unless you had a history class that went into painstaking detail about the Versailles Treaty and the monetary demands made by the allies towards Germany he isn't a household name. His theory on economic stimulus was rebuked during the Great Depression and is still a losing strategy as we have seen by the pathetic performance of the stimulus bill..

Obviously Ms Harmony, you would have to agree that expecting someone to know how to spell KENYA is not asking for recitation of the quantum physics theory..

I think the sign holder knew what they were doing, but the readers and those answering the question were not paying close enough attention to the spelling,,,,,,something thats not so uncommon here amongst minglers,,,lol

It was done on purpose..Of Course... That doesn't change the fact that people didn't know the difference between the two.

This is a perfect example of why the idea of "the people" voting on major legislation issues is a really bad idea.

Do I really want someone that doesn't know the difference between Kenya and Keynes voting on Finance Reform?

I don't think so..

I really dont make issue of it, most people didnt know how to spell KENYA either until OBAMA ran,,,but thats not one of the issues of priority in this country(kenya) so public knowledge about it doesnt really take priority with me,,,

ok, so 14 percent are completely illiterate, and I can gather in my conversations with others in print and in person that the percentage who have little COMPREHENSION and LOGIC skills is much higher than that,,,

http://www.livescience.com/culture/090110-illiterate-adults.html

which brings up the point that I really would like to see GRAMMAR and SPELLING being taught in our schools once again,,,

I wonder the enrollment rate in such classes,, I attribute university classes to specialized or extended education

Most americans have not taken such specialized economic classes, I just dont think the educational level of americans concerning the HISTORY of economics is anymore extensive than that concerning the HISTORY of government

but I just oppose the equation of this lack of knowledge (or special interest) as being the sign of STUPIDITY

its like calling someone stupid for not being able to point out a specific country on a map,,,I dont consider that stupidity so much as a lack of interest in something that doesnt impact upon their survival or progress
