He has volunteered for duty in the Army is going to basic within the week and on to Iraq.

Yes, we were late, but better late than never, Aye! I mean after all, we were not threatened until Japan bombed Pearl Harbor so why should we have involved ourselves. Then again when everyone in Europe saw the signs that Hitler was a danger, way back in the early thirties, the great European Governments did nothing until it was too late. One by one they fell, till finally Britain stood alone, glorious ole England. They did themselves, and their queen proud.
They accepted our late entry into the war, but had it not been for their brave resistance in the battle of Britain, the allies(AMERICA, Britain, and Canada) would not have had a jumping off point for the final battle to begin. Glorious ole England, they did the rest of Europe a great and courageous deed. They and they alone of all the great European countries withstood the mighty Nazi war machine, and I am sure that without America's help they would have stood and defeated Hitler. Without England's help the US would have faced a very difficult task indeed. The intelligence data provided by England was instrumental in the defeat of Hitler, as well as the bravery of their service men and women! England has always stood with us wherever we have fought! Their friendship has never wavered, even when Bush chose to enter this unpopular and illegal war in Iraq without Tony Blair (notice I didn't say the English) George Bush could never have pulled off the lies and deception that he did! LMAO One day when the time comes I will happily cast my vote to make England our 51st State!
