No, it's because people don't know how to manage a budget. We wern't in a recession in the 90's were we? We were in the middle of several wars then.

Wars create tons of jobs. Hell the F-35 project is creating thousands of jobs with the different plants opening.

When we build a new carrier, sub, destroyer or any other vessel how many people do you think it takes to build them? A lot and we have a lot of open orders for new equipment. Last but not least, how many jobs does the military create? A lot right there.

Let me give you a little lesson. The UAE, Jordan, Egypt, and several other Middle Eastern countries are allied with Israel for other reasons.

First because Israel is Nuclear, they are not. Simple.

Two because Israel is a "Very Close" ally(at least before Obama took office) of the United States, Canada and the EU. So are the above mentioned countries.

Third, no Middle Eastern country other then Syria want Iran to go nuclear. They see Israel as the potential to stop that by using ANY for necessary. Israel has the only equipment and technology in the entire Middle East to properly handle Iran(hell, we gave them most of it). UAE and the majority of the Middle East was for a pre-emptive strike by the US or Israel before Iran's plant went nuclear.

Israel has to be the worst ally ever. I suppose if a poll were held in the middle east the majority would say Israel should give up its nukes also. I couldnt find any evidence at all to support your claim that no other middle eastern countries wish Iran to have the bomb. I sometimes think you imagine the world as you wish it to be and not how it realy is. I did find this though from the BBC.
