you ever think that maybe these girls are seeing it wrong? maybe this rash of "poor, poor pitiful me" threads are because the people posting them find it easier to blame the entire male population than to shoulder some of the reasonability themselves?

the plain truth is that nobody (male or female) is going to find all people attractive. if someone is not interested in you, for any reason, move on! if this is a recurring theme, perhaps it is time to look inward and stop blaming everyone else for your own unhappiness.

No, like i say, im not mad at anything, i take everything with a light heart. I just notice on that when girls/men come here to state their feelings on the forum, somehow instead of getting support, they end up with labels. True fear and loathing say evryone gets labeled or whatever but but honestly labes mean nothing unless we apply them like nametags. I just sayin i feel bad for girls and guys that maybe had a bad date or something and end up labeled instead lifted up. I just came out of a twelve year relationship/10 year marriage, hell yay Im self conscious. People who say stop blaming everyone else. Guess what< I do blame my ex, funny i never had self esteem issues before. I do blame society for all it's pressures it puts on people, whether it be looks, academics, whatever, People always say to take responisbilty for your own actions or whatever, thats great if you've murdered or stolen from somebody, but as far as self image is concerned Society is the one to blame.

Ps, it's obvious a problem, why the heck is there so many plastic surgeons and false boobies/nose jobs, tummy tucks? it's not a minority of people doing these treatments, it's a huge chunk in society getting these procedures done whether these people admit to it or not, many of them have had a procedure done to meet society standards.

3% or so of the population recieved plastic surgery last year. Don't make statistics up on the spot, do the math yourself.

Honestly, you can blame society all you want...we can't stop you, go ahead. You can blame society for years, and then one day you will wake up and realize it isn't doing anything for you. Trust me, I blamed society for years, still do to some extent...but society has nothing to do with your relationship or relationships, society didn't pick the people for you to date, society didn't tell you to do this or that...you did.

I didnt actually throw in any statistics but let me re-word it for you, the majority of people who CAN AFFORD plastic surgery, or tanning beds---lap bands, gastric bypass---nose jobs, and then again I'm from california, so let's not forget fake boobs, or for all the men who got calf implants and silicon peck inhancements. And dont neglect the people who go to mexico---OFF THE RECORD for their lip injections and botched surgeries that don't even get reported through the united states and all the women of iran and iraq who get nose jobs-- but I'm not just gonna make up statistics on the spot or anything. You're the one throwing out numbers, i'm the one throwing out reality!

3% of the population is hardly something to get worked up about...that is my point. There is no statistic backing the claim that the majority are in Orange County, CA or even Los Angeles. But as far as I can tell in this thread, you are free to make whichever claim you would like regardless of it being true or not.
