I don't think you can really cheat on an android especially if she has short-circuited. Unless, of course, if you were an android. I was always hoping they would do a sequel to the movie because I was wondering if the manufacturer of the android did the marrying or what. If you ever get a chance watch the movie because I think he really was in love with that android. From watching him with his friends after work he had trouble with what could be considered human women. Even he and the repairman who tried to fix Cherry disagreed on what romance was.

I think Tyrell was a monster. But you are right he did have that redeeming factor with Rachel. I think Tyrell found out that playing God can backfire on you.

Cherry 2000 had no hope of a sequel because the studio that owned it basically pushed it aside. It was finally released in 1987 even though it was supposed to be in '86, and it was only released theatrically outside the States.
