why would you want to freeze butter?

I buy a couple lbs when its on sale, and just throw it in the freezer. Pull a stick out a couple days before I need it. I suppose you could foil the stick around the wrapper, but I don't seem to have any problems

I wanna know. Place the stick of butter unwrapped in a wet, ultra thin glass dish, place it in the back of the freezer, and if you can adjust the temp. to the coldest setting. |

Costco, buy 10 pounds and you don't need butter for six months.
Just leave it in its box, and stick it in the freezer. Nothing fancy to it. Pull it out a couple days early and let it thaw. No biggie, nothing special. |
