Why would someone who seems to like you in real life constantly decline your friend requests on things like facebook or myspace? Yes I know there will be those who think those sites are lame...but whatever.

Because people are irrational and don't always say what they mean nor mean what they say, that's just the way things are...don't waste time thinking about it too much, it's just not worth the energy...there are better things to think about.

I hate getting those stupid requests. I mean, if you are my friend...you know it. Relegating it to a list is nonsensical to me but, occasionally I would go down the list and accept all of them, even the people I aint seen for years.

What REALLY chapped my butt was when I get one chick p*ssed off that she ain't #1 on my list....

I even had to explain "First off, I have known you for three months and secondly the list is in ALPHABETICAL ORDER!!!!!"

I suppose that if you are gathering a list up to use like a trophy...then I would keep on her about it. But, if you are friends in the actual real world...I dont see how it matters.

I have it very clearly stated on my FB profile that if someone is trying to contact me who I work with or is an ex...I got no interest in dealing with them there.

You make a good point krupa. I hate when people get all upset because of the order of the list. I usually have things ordered by the amount of time I spend talking to them. I just find it irritating that she tells me she is never on when I see her commenting to mutual friends status' all the time. I am not really worried about it, just slightly peeved.

Reason 1,009 not to have a facebook or myspace account.

I am not talking about a romantic interest...this is one of the female aids that works where I live. I have half the staff on my friends list.

I don't have, nor would I add blood relatives to my Facebook page. I only add the extremely rare co-worker (3 only), and only after I'm no longer at the job. That way I don't have to watch what I say. On rare occassions I will add a relative stranger, but if they don't say anything within a week, I delete them. I basically have only close friends who actually communicate with me, and who know who I am from other venues.
