what have you been doing with your days off Mary?

Well, one day I spent 2 hours on wallpapering my entry-way to only have it all fall off....money down the drain

and just messing around rearranging stuff to give the dinning room a different look...

Stripped and refished 3 decks..

But mostly, being lazy...got to get off my butt and do some cleaning.

Just being kind to myself
I hate doing wall paper, was it the pre-glued stuff?

Yes, it was and expensive too. I think my wall need to be sanded first cuz it is a bumpy finish sort of. I was just so disgusted to have all that money go down the drain. Think whenever I can get the money together that I will put up wainscot. That's what I wanted to do anyway but believe it or not, even the expensive wallpaper was cheaper.

you might need to put some sizing on the wall before putting up the paper, and yes sanding would help..

What a beautiful night. I just got back from my walk. It is a comfortable 75F out with bearable humidity. I really need a walking partner for nights like this. I usually go for a bike ride at night but recently decided to do the biking in the AM and walking in the PM.
