Hi Mary. Cute mouse. Reminds me of one of my favorite sayings. "Although the early bird may get the worm, it is the second mouse that gets the cheese." Cute, never heard that one before. What have you been up to?

Yes, I am on summer break and loving it. School starts back up towards the end of next month. I really enjoy sleeping in or taking a snooze if I feel like it. It is hard to get back in the swing of things once school starts back up, but at least I have a job to go back to. Are jobs as hard to come by in Canada as they are here? Do you get unemployment benefits? We do, to some extent. My one son has lost his. He has been off 1 1/2 years. He is in cement work and no one is hiring or building. He has applied to numerous other types of jobs but never gets a call for an interview. For every job open there are hundreds applying.

Hello everyone: I am just making a pot of coffee. I ran out of tea, my beverage of choice but coffee will do. Mary, I do not qualify for any wage insurance so I am living off my quickly depleting savings. I'll find something though, I have confidence.

Tim, how are the RAGBRAI kids doing? Suppose to heat up more and rain....hope they dodge the rain anyway. Are you going to try and meet up with them one day to party?
