What do you think is the best year from 1900 to 1999, and why??

I know most people will automatically say the year they were born, but be more in depth about it than that!!

What year did they invent the mocha? That one.

So many great years, so many great things...hmmmmm, I'll have to get back to ya on this..need to ponder.

Even though its before my time, I have to say 1969.
America was vibrant!!...the moon landing, Woodstock, Mustang Mach 1's, Bewitched (she was so hot!!), Hawaii Five-O, Led Zeppelin 1 and 2, etc, etc.

Hmm, I had a really good '95. Spent the summer having the Grateful Dead follow me everywhere (no kidding caught 3 shows and had no intention of it, it sounds off the wall but I got a friend that can back me up).

Traveled through 18 states, and got to see New England in the fall. Spent two weeks in Washington D.C., mainly doing research at the National Archives, but also taking in some sights. I still need to go back and see more, ran out of time and didn't see the National Portrait gallery.

That was the same year I met a certain young lady and the two Dalmations we kept for almost two years (she kept them after that).
I was able to help one of my friends go on his first boating trip.

I got to be the drummer in a band for a while (I got replaced after the 2nd gig, but in truth Bryan was better than me).

Those are just the highlights. I'm sure I forgot some major stuff.

I'd Have to say when I saw The Beatles for the first time when they were on the Ed Sullivan show, I guess 1967, not really sure, I can remember it like it was yesterday, or when I saw Michael Jackson in concert.

The year they first came out with the hula hoop. 1950 something.

1994-1995...second grade was the best time in my school experience in that century.

Second grade?? Oh lawdy I graduated high school in 1995. I'm going to find some depends and go to bed.
