Does anyone use these?
I do. I just got an invitation for CloudFlare and set up my main site. So far, so good. I've had honeypots on my sites before, but need to set them up again. I also plan on re-donating my domains to Project honetpot. I did have them donated, but then I transfered my domains and never got around to resetting the MX records. Check 'em out if you have any domains. http://www.projecthoneypot.org https://www.cloudflare.com |

Hahaha I loved the headline "Wouldn't it be cool if your website were protected by ninjas?"
Looks neat too I never used them though. Are they effective? |

Project Honey Pot seems to be. I've used their database to help detect spammers when I had forums. I've had honey pots set up on my sites as well, even donated MX records and plan to do so again.
CloudFlare is still in Beta. |

Nice. I think it is interesting that there are projects for spammers already. The spamming is getting worse and worse.
On one of the site I found some cool spammer detectors. One was a trick question. Like; what's is the capital of Spain The other was having a security code and ask you to only type in those numbers under the stars. That one was genius I think |

CAPTCHA is awesome.
http://www.captcha.net/ Project Honey Pot and similar projects have been around for a while. There's a lot out there. I'm always looking for ways to protect my website from spammers/scammers/bad bots/etc. Spamhaus is another good one to check out http://www.spamhaus.org/ |
