i still think its a case of whites over-reacting...winking

It would only be whites who have a guilty conscience or something, that would have been concerned about this. Because I did not find it intimidating nor would it have made me afraid to vote.

i think the media saw an opportunity to make some headlines, and lied and tried everything they could to make the "front page" if they woulda just ignored the whole thing, the king would have went home to his castle, and bragged to his subjects about how kingly he is...

Actually in Europe in general, you are more likely to be understood speaking another language than English because they are more multi lingual there.

I sure hope some posters realize that discussing other posters is against the rules.

You need to check the rules again.

I have done neither. Prove it.'

I already know you can't.....because I did neither.

Really? You have never said that I dislike Obama because he is black? Interesting, you have never reffered to the Tea Party people as tea baggers? (I helped get it going here in Nevada)

Nope. I call the tea baggers, tea baggers because they referred to themselves as such.

None of the ones I know do. Besides you only say it to provoke people here because you know they find it extremly offensive.

the LAWS are not simple,, neither are the REQUIREMENTS for proving a case,,, from mainjustice.com and the statement of the assistant attorney general

' Although none of the defendants responded to the complaint, that did not absolve the Department of its legal and ethical obligations to ensure that any relief sought was consistent with the law and supported by the evidence. The entry of a default judgment is not automatic, and the Pennsylvania Bar Rules impart a clear duty of candor and honesty in any legal proceeding; those duties are only heightened in the type of ex parte hearing that occurred in this matter. See Pa. RPC 3.3(d). At the remedial stage, as with the liability stage, the Department remains obliged to ensure that the request for relief is supported by the evidence and the law.'

the default judgment still REQUIRED sufficient evidence and and consistency with the law in order for RELIEF to be sought,,,which was not found in this case to be met

laugh

I believe that the black panthers felt they had a legitimate concern. Whether I would do what they did to address it, I don't know but I can understand their concern.

Black folks still do not get a fair shake in this country.

Okay this will be the last post disrespecting the OP and discussing me.

I do not try to offend anyone. I say what a see and feel about the OP. I am always speaking about ideals, propaganda, misinformation, etc... I am never speaking about certain posters. If you read what I write you will see that.

Racist, fearmongering, hatemongering, etc... ideals and propaganda are spread as if they are true and are not, all the time. I just call them what they are. I am always addressing the information, never the poster.

Poor people aren't 'getting their fair shake' - especially poor black people. Its not like 'black people' are one unified group of people - you can't deny that there is discrimination in a country based on the positions obtained by the elite within a particular race.

poor people and black people, are both demographics historically discriminated against, although black people have been LEGALLY discriminated against for much longer in this country.

It's kinda hard to use that argument when we have a black President, Attorney General, Senior White House Advisors, Top Generals(Colin Powell) Supreme Court Justices, Senators, Congressmen, Diplomats, Governors, LT. Governors, Administrator of the EPA, Ambassador to the United Nations, United States Trade Representative, the Administrator of NASA and so on and so on. But your right they don't get a fair deal here.

I dont want to really get into the racial debate as I am pretty much outnumbered in my 'racial' perception and experiences, BUT if one looks at how the HISTORY of segregation and discrimination has affected the economic and social status of black people SPECIFICALLY, it becomes clear that it cant possibly become 'fair' all of a sudden. Its like saying, you ran three thousand yards of the race so far and you WERENT allowing me to run at all, and now suddenly because Im allowed to run(from zero),, all is 'fair'.
