The 1911 dominates the Beretta in most aspects. And the 1911 is highly customizable. Turn a 'good' gun into a 'nail driver.'

Freedom Arms.....454 Casull, use it for hunting and all. Kicks a bit(lol) but is a great piece

I've got a Smith and Wesson 39-2 and a pair of Remington 1100s. Oh and the 10/22 for coyotes and such.

Ruger P97 DC .45, its a boring gun with no frills but all it does is shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot...And that's all that really counts.

i have one of these(sks) and these and want one of these.(Colt Defender Lightweight Model 45 ACP) i don't think i'de want a 1911...

that is messed up with the beretta tho never knew that... mine has always done well, but i never threw it in the mud tho...

That Colt Defender .45 ACP is nice! i like how little it is... thats what caught my eye about it Beretta's always seem kind of clunky to me, but I love Colt's. How does that little Defender handle?

How does that little Defender handle? it's real smooth, i never had a problem with mine...but its a 9, so there's not alot of power with it... but it's very comfortable and accurate up to 30 yards or so, but it took some getting use the sights. i might get a laser, if i get the 45.

Depends on the use, for a carry gun 9mm is good enough. But if you have the cash to shovel, the .45 chamber is pretty good. I love a good .45 ACP, and I think that is why I love Colt so much...the 1911 is a thing of beauty.

I'm actually glad he owns all of those. I don't personally own any guns myself, but I do have a fascination with them. We need them, because if, and possibly when, our country goes down into full-blown Capitalism...we have to have something to rise against them with.
