![]() That's me and my dad. Love him dearly, but we are too much alike. Unfortunately, while we used to be able to argue and that be it, of late, the last couple of times, he actually took a swing at me. That's what ended the arguements. Not good. Usually, I can not get too argumentative with anyone, because I try to keep it on an even keel. If they aren't willing to listen, then it's not worth my time. I listen, and expect the same. |

I have learned that some aren't worth arguing with. If a person is open to ideas or atleast that opinions differ, I will debate and articulate. I learned from my ex that shoveling sand against the sea is a useless endeavor and usually makes one tired and the other exactly as you found them.

I don't really argue
not worth it unless I'm soooo passionate about the subject otherwise... I just whistle a happy tune! ![]() |

Are you the type that will argue with a lamp post??? I know I am... it's a Texas thang ![]() At what point do you realize that it doesn't do any good? Or do you realize it? I speak very softly. I never raise my voice. If someone feels the need to vent, I listen, can't say I have ever argued with anyone. It sounds...loud. And energy sucking. A smile diffuses a lot. |

I have found it more effective that, when a woman is doing the chewing out at me. To stand there with a BIG smirkyy smile on my face.LOL. Works every time to make them more upset. Then, I just walk away.
