My hair used to be to the middle of my back when I was still in high school, then the summer before my junior year I got it all cut off. I haven't had it that long since then. I keep threatening to shave my hair off on days it is misbehaving.


Me too! It's so unfair that bald is not as acceptable for women as it is for men! But alas, knowing my luck, I would have one of those funny shaped heads anyway!


Lol it's so much fun I'll say that at work and then my stepsister would tell me that we have a pair of clippers in the back and she can shave my hair if I really wanted and if I would shave hers Sometimes working with family has its benefits

Long hair or at the very least, shoulder-length. I think it all has to do with the females we grew up around. Family or friends. Personally, I have only known a few females who looked right with short hair.

I've had SUPER LONG, healthy hair from past my arse to knees most of my life and LOVED it ...

Though it is SO thick it is actually more a glorified fur coat!

I do finally agree w/ most stylists, though: I think long hair past a certain age is quite aging on a woman, beautiful hair or not ...

I personally think whatever the woman feels comfortable with. If she feels like she looks good in the cut or style then she is going to exude that. I personally have had it to my butt many times then get bored and cut it right now I am into the straight stuff. So I have to use the bloody straightner.
Cut it last fall now letting it grow back out.

I have thick curly bouncy hair too.....wild esp when I wake up.....I look like a jungle woman....
