Wow .. I read this on a profile on a different site, but I was so struck with the ridiculous-ness of it that I had to share here.
Please tell me people (excepting this guy  ) don't REALLY do this ..
His line from his profile: BTW I reduced my age ten percent so you would not prejudge me or exclude me from your search. Pics are real and recent. This is what I wrote him as 'unsolicited advice'  Dang it all, I couldn't help myself ....
You seem like a fun and great guy. Can I give you a tip? Don't do the 10% age reduction just to fit in searches. I date younger constantly, and I refuse to put myself in another age category so someone can find me. I want someone to find me because they are looking for the REAL me. 59. or whatever your age. Bottom line is, you MAY look younger (I know I do) but reality is you ARE the age you are. So in the end, they need to WANT to date your age group. It is what it is .. don't live in fear you will miss out someone who doesn't really want to date your age. You really are that age. There are lots of people who date older .. I have tons of guys (from 20 on up) who are actually looking for my age group. Why try to dupe those who really aren't looking for YOU. 
This may not make sense to you, but you can't fake reality hon. Just sayin .."  Needless to say .... It wasn't received very well

And the profile continues....... I have hair implants, calf implants, botox three times a week, and I tan so damn much that I actually look orange. Oh, and my scroat is wrinkly, I take viagra like skittles, and I still love eight tracks (nothing wrong with 8-tracks mind you). Ahhhh....this will be me in ten years.
