Well I just got ripped off.
It was only $15. Should I show compassion or kick her to the curb. |

Depends, but if you have to wonder, maybe you should kick her to the curb.

Seems this sort of thing shouldn't be about the 15 bucks....

Is this the 22 year old you speak of being so happy with? Yet, now you are questioning "trust" concerning her.
I'll "give" whatever I have, to have "it" taken does change things. Only you can figure this one out.. Good Luck brother |

I'm self employed as a landlord. Basicly loaded the 1st of the month. I am real good at depositing that money to the bank. which I did. In my drawers. Could have asked.

I know it's the principle. i don't know... 15 dollars don't sound like much, but what's it going to be next time, if there is? why did she take it? if it was to buy crack or something like that, you shoulda already booted her, but if was for food or something, i wouldn't worry to much about it. |

decisions decisions......do you think there maybe a plausible reason as to why she did not ask? maybe a fear of some sort? something you may not know about? I can not say what you should or should not do because that remains inside of you....have you asked her side?

I agree with Joe, what's it going to be next time or for that matter will you even know about it until it's too late!

My take on the whole thing. When she needed her presciption filled and didn't have the money I was there. She wanted this small room size refridgerator I gave her that. I just think I'm a good person to have on your side. Why do something like that.
Do you think that by giving so much, She thinks it's ok to take stuff without asking. |

Perhaps, but she still should have asked, that's the decent thing to do.

This really depends on your living arrangements. My last 'shack-up' and I would take cash sitting...then we would say so. "Oh by the way honey, I grabbed that 20" Is she a space cadet? I don't mean that in a rude way...perhaps she felt comfortable enough and then just spaced it out. |

Next to trust, there is the issue of being considerate, no matter what stage the relationship is at.

you still haven't said why she took the money, or do you know?

You just answered your own question. |

well, since she took it without asking, there is a lack of respect, but i wouldn't do anything till i found out why she took it...to me, that would be the most important thing.
