Not to mention that the only Executive experience on the campaign ticket at all was Governor Palin. i am misunderstanding your use of executive,,might you expand on that? are you referring to the less than two years she spent governing Alaska before her VP campaign? Executive Experience. Ok Government lesson here Executive Branch=Prsident's VP's Governor's and LT. Governors, Leglaslative=Congressmen, Senators, Assemblymen, State Senators and Judicial=Supreme Court and State Supreme Court. Palin had executive experience under her belt. Ans you really wanna talk about the length of time as Governor? How about the length of time Obama was a Senator? You realize that he announced to run for president after being elected to the senate! late night fog,,executive was supposed to be experience I was asking about what her ACTUAL experience was (what she did and for how long,,) I am aware that she spent six years as mayor of 6 or 7 thousand residents in Wasilla county and another several months as governor,,,,,,,, but I wont begrudge the details , she was the only one who had been elected to any executive position on the ticket and the only one to not have any legislative,,,, SO then technically she was the most experienced in the Executive Branch of the Government running for an Executive Branch position. Obvious choice. not necessarily,, as I said, such positions come from winning ELECTIONS,,,which can often just be a popularity contest,,,,and not a true reflection of what TALENT or CAPABILITY one has,, so the choice is not made OBVIOUS just by the presence of some experience, but by what was DONE in that experience and what evidence there is of how well they performed in that experience

People voted for someone who was popular not experienced. They overlooked his lack of experience, his extremist and terrorist friends and his extreme Socialist views.

It sounds to me like the guy was being a smartass. Personally, I think it's refreshing to hear a politician say it like it is. Lighten up people, it's not like this gaffe was about policy, it was about custard. What kind of fool argues over an icy treat? It's about class. It's about being in a fishbowl with all eyes on you. It's about representing your country with class. Not calling a hard working American that is taxed out the a## a smartaSS or dropping the F'Bomb all over the news. Maybe F bombs offend you, but they don't bother me. And calling a person who is being sacastic a smartass is not the worse thing that can happen to them. Truth is this is a non-story. Of course if the hard working American had studied government he'd know that congress, not the vice-president is in charge of leveeing taxes.

I loved when Biden gets caught being human. I also loved it when the President said he was going to kick *. I just wish the President would kick * and take names later especially with his trying to be bipartisan. We already know what the republicans do to this country, we had 8 years of it. I am still tired from all the mess the Republicans left all over all of us.
