Welcome to Mingle
What are you confused about? This seems pretty apparent to me – stay away! You have been a part a week and he is already with someone else? You want to reward him by taking him back? Let him suffer from his “stupidity” and learn from his lesson. You are not someone he should have thrown away. Stand up for yourself and find someone who will not treat you so trivially. Emotional baggage will trip you up but you need to be stronger. If you don’t handle this well, you will learn and accept a pattern of lower standards - and possibly never break the cycle. Stop the madness now! |

Ask a bunch of people on a singles site...Redundant Panda says - "that is called a logic-backfire."

Just go hunt him down, grab ahold of him and have your way with him (there are a lot on here you can practice with) then, when you are finished, in your coldest meanest voice, tell him what you want. He will automatically reply "Yes dear."
Seriously, you have to decide for yourself what you want. If you are willing to give up what it requires to get back with him, then give it a try, knowing that it may not work. Everyone on here has a masters degree in wrecked relationships, that is why we are single. Most cannot tell you how to make a relationship work, but we are experienced in how to make certain that they don't work |

hi me and my bf just split up a week ago but he wid someone else but he has been tellin his bro wot an idiot he is and he misses me i love him to bits but im confused with the situation It's only been a week so it's understandable to have those feelings. If he's with someone else, then it would only be fair to move on. |

Honestly Sweetie, This is something I have mixed feelings about. You do love him but if he is willing to drop you just like that for someone else whose to say he wouldn't do it again?
All you can do is grab him and kiss him. See if he feels the same feelings too. Whisper in his ear how much you miss him and love him and see what he says. Then you have your answer. But just don't wait around there are plenty of single sweet guys out there who would gladly date you. |

Find a guy that knows he wants to be with you.

I was in a simlilar situation when my ex of 10 years left me in November for another girl. A few months later he was telling me he had made a huge mistake, that he should be with me, that he still loves me, etc. We started sleeping together again even though he was still with the other girl. I finally gave him an ultimatum and told him he had to choose. He wouldn't break up with her. He's still to this day trying to string me along saying all that crap but I just won't get sucked into it again. Whatever you do, don't let him play games with you. If you talk to him and he seems to want to work things out, make sure he's willing to cut all ties with the other person right away. Don't be strung along. It'll just mess with your head and you're too good for that. Find someone that wants to be with you - not someone who's unsure.

hi me and my bf just split up a week ago but he wid someone else but he has been tellin his bro wot an idiot he is and he misses me i love him to bits but im confused with the situation I can identify with this situation -- the only person I've ever known who was at all compatible with me is one of my exes -- and she and I have been doing the on-again-off-again thing for ten years now. It's not the healthiest of scenarios, but you have to make some assessments and decide whether it's realistically worth it to try again or not. The main issue is: if he did it once, will he do it again (and again and again)....? Please don't spend 10 years being a yo-yo, like I've done. THAT is not worth it. I'm pretty sure you could find someone who would appreciate you enough not to treat you in such a cavalier manner. Some of us don't have that option. |

Getting back together and having a healthy relationship isn't very likely. Save yourself the heartache and forget about it.
