It's very simple to figure out. So, that excuse doesn't really fly. I'm not saying people have to use it, but when I hear someone tell me they're a bad speller and that's just the way it is, there's really no excuse not to use spell check.

If they don't know of it, how do they know to ask? Either way, it doesn't bother me.

What pet peeve do you have about any random profile? The cut and paste? The terribly misspelled words? Something else? Do tell!!!! For me it's those that don't know the difference in they're and their and there! They were taught to us in elementary school! Also, it's and its!!! know and no you are ok with?

I get worried when "shopping" and "drinking" are listed as interests.

Spelling doesn't bother me as much as when the person goes on and on and on with no punctuation.
for example when people type like this its very hard to read because it ends up being one entirely too long run on sentence that you have to read a few times over to understand what they are actually trying to say they put a few lols in between but that is certainly not any indication of one sentence ending and another one beginning didnt they ever learn simple sentence structure do they talk like this i think not so why do they type their profiles in a way that makes them so damn hard to read also im pretty sure they dont even proof read what they wrote or they would probably pick up on this fact |

If you don't agree, that's perfectly fine. Obviously not everyone is going to care about spelling. But just realize that others may prefer that people spell correctly. That being said, if I get along well with someone and find them interesting, I'm not going to care much about spelling.

I have seen blindfolded barn owls write better profiles than 99% of what's out there.... It doesn't matter how good the alleged picture is, if the profile consists of "I'm a fun girl who likes to have fun," I can't generate more than about a millisecond's worth of interest.... |
