Topic: Guys, What kind of women do you like? | |

I want a woman that's interested in being with me and not whoever is calling on that cell phone.

I know this will shatter some illusions.
I like em smart. I aint talking about "not a bubble head".....I mean scary smart. Science, philosophy, history, classical literature, law....that kind of thing. There is nothing sexier than a highly intelligent woman.....and it is a b*+ch to constantly steer conversations to the shallow end of the pool. I find it refreshing when I can carry on a deep conversation with someone and we both understand the whole damned thing instead of just falling back on sex to pass the time. Along that line, I love it when a woman has a hobby she loves. It gives her her own time for self fulfillment and it gives me a break too. Beyond that....humor, compassion, passion, hornitude and finally looks. Hard to find a woman like that though. |

I like women who WANT men in their life but dont NEED them. Totally! I men, and I want one in my life, and need, however the 'need' is strictly physical. I mean we gals like it too... That's pretty much all we're good for anyway!!! |

I tend to gravitate toward women with some kind of edge, be it a girly girl edge, or a tomboy edge... just not total plain jane wall flower type.... the "princess" type seem to be attractive to me as well... strong personality, a point of view - passion for life and for things other than themselves... I have found I am attracted to some women, who initially I though I would not be attracted too, but after getting to know them... I agree with earlier posts, it's mostly a vibe thing... I am not attracted to overly thin women, it's a turn off for me. I am very attracted to intellectual types, although they do not have to be formal about their education, just smart. Independent, strong, oh my!.... Of course, bouncy never hurts!! $.02 Just curious, what's the attraction to the princess type? Good question, for me it is mostly it's the challenge - the banter, it's interesting, usually never dull... of course it vary's from perosn to person... and I'll admit it... I also enjoy the shopping! I must be honest though, she has to have other endeering qualities - not just a "total princess"... perhaps I sould qualify that with "edgy intellectual with princess tendancies" $.02 |

OH lord here we go again, because all women cheat? |

If men would stop demeaning themselves and learn to say no, I think we would grow together. But as long as men let women tell them what they think, we are not going anywhere. Life is not just in your pants people. Needing men just physically...you're missing out on half +1 of what life has to offer.

I like the kind of woman I haven't met yet -- well, hypothetically, anyway....

I'd like to meet a woman that is not so shallow that she can't get past the looks long enough to actually get to know a person. For the most part, you can't judge someone by their pictures alone, but sadly that is what most women do.

For the most part, you can't judge someone by their pictures alone, but sadly that is what most women do. Just because the women you've had experience with judge by looks alone does not mean even most women do. Both men and women can be shallow. Like J said above, there has to be some attraction. That's not being shallow. |

When a woman makes you go... but with a smile, it's very good
I like the effect myself |

I totally agree that you need to have an attraction to someone. But, and I don't really mean lower your standards, be real. Most of us are here looking because it is so hard to find new people otherwise nowadays. I'm just saying that people should not be so picky and base "attraction" totally on looks (pics) and get to know someone first to see if there is "chemistry" there, which can make someone more attractive to them in the end. Sorry if I'm not making sense. I am slender and have the same problem some overweight people have, being passed over due to your size. I have been told by some this was the issue so I'm basing this somewhat on facts, not just whining....lol Anyway, thanks for letting me "vent"....lol

Everyone has preferences. You can't force someone to give up those preferences just because you don't want them to be picky.
