I have some stuff I want to sell pretty quick, within a week or so. I'm not sure if pawning would be the best idea, but if I have to, I guess I'll do that.

I want to sell everything in my bedroom. I have an aqaurium with stand and two filter systems, air pump, hose, and bubble bars, and heater. I also have two water pumps a fish bowl, some exercise equipment, dresser, night stand, old CRT TV, surround sound system, and a bunch of old CD-ROMs.

Any ideas on how to sell this stuff fast? I can't do a yard sale or garage sale, I don't have a yard or garage. Posting online would probably take too long.

Try Craigslist in your area. If the stuff doesn't sell fast ( it usually does if the price is reasonable ) then hit up the pawn shops.

You won't get much from Pawn shops so listing on Craigslist is your better bet.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Maybe waiting a little longer might be better. I doubt I'll get much, but whatever I get will help.

If you have to get rid of chit quick. Call an auctioneer.... He will get rid of it for you.......

If you want to get rid of the stuff and not get screwed at a pawn shop...I wouldn't wait much longer.

Wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

It can sometimes take a bit to get an auction set up.

BUT...one advantage to doing it that way is that, if you don't have to have the money immediately, then an auctioneer will take a commission, but you'll get the rest.

Craigslist, because you list the stuff in your area, and the ads are free

put an ad in your local newspaper, the old fashion way

my ex is certainly available...lol..and she drives truck now...took her and her bf under 2 hrs to pack everything in the house, including my clothes(for why I don't know) into his truck while I was at church. was worth it to be rid of her, though

For the aquarium stuff - do you know anybody that smokes weed? Ask them if they'll buy it.

The other stuff I would say put on Craigslist. Pawn shops will probably give you 150 bucks for everything you just mentioned.

Do you have car boot sales in the US?

Or maybe use Ebay, set the sale time to whatever the minimum is, maybe you can set it to one day. Im not sure hough, i have never used it to sell.

Find a parking lot, or a flea market that you can set up at. Though, Craigslist would probably work better. You can find anything and everything on there.

What's car boot sales? I never heard of that.

People gather and sell stuff straight from the boot of their car. They are common in the UK but i dont know about over there, unless you have another name for it.
