a M-16 rifle can shoot 1/8 to a 1/4 mile, (500 yard or 1500 feet) which one would you rather have pointed at you from 400 yards?

Oh, it's a good thing. I can just see some bad things happening with it in the wrong hands. Of course bad things happen when a steak knife is placed in the wrong hands as well. I was just saying.
