CDs still the same size like they were 20 years ago?

Actually they do make smaller CD's and most CD players will play them. Because of the limited data size though they're really only good for MP3's.

I've noticed that too. I don't think any of mine have shrunk at all over the years. They must make em out of pretty good stuff.

CDS are going out no one buys them anymore. We have free music now.People burn music and if they changed size than cd players would have to change and thats all a hassle

I still make mp3 cds for my car, I just wish they would be more scratch resistant.

They have a clear protective cover you can stick on the readable side of the CD and it can be read with the cover on. I've never used them, but seem them in stores.

they had cd's 20 yrs ago?...noway

cd's debuted sometime around 1985 but didn't really go mainstream until the late 80's early 90's.

. . .

I think the first time i saw them was indeed in mid 85..in a scientific magazine, a guy holding it in his hands with the rainbow colors going through..I was like "whatever" I'll never have one. Now I use some of them to balance out the laundry machine.
