 ... Chokes me up to just read it and ponder my future ...

It all goes in the blink of an eye ...

Mine was just one day old yesterday ... and graduated 6th grade today ...

I'm sure you feel the same way ...

She'll do well ... drinker ... Remember:

There are 2 lasting bequests we give our children ...

One is Roots ... flowerforyou ... The other, Wings ...

Edit: She has great roots and, so, will fly well ...

K, take solace in the fact that you gave her what she needs to survive in this world. Love, Confidence, Faith and the room to dream. And remember, Little girls never really leave their dads.

Some of my favorite memories are just me and my dad and not saying a word.

Harder on you than on her.
But.
She takes you with her, wherever she goes.
And they always know where the original nest is.

Besides.
You have us.
A big kindergarten with unruly children everywhere.
Like starting over, eh?

I missed my son very much, when he started college (my only child). He worked, had a girlfriend, and had little time for his mom. I understood, but felt sad all the same. It lessens a bit over time, and I`m happy to have raised an independent, self-reliant person.

My first born daughter has just left the house....she is driving to Colorado. She finished her first yr of college, and is at a loss as to what she wants to do in life. She feels she will find what ever it is out there. She has been such an important part of my life for the last 19 yrs. I am sad because she is gone.....but I know this is how it goes in life.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, I know how you feel...almost...My daughter goes off to college in Aug. She is leaving this week for her sr. cruise...I gonna miss her tears
