Enlisted Army. 94b20. 1st of 81st Artilery, Neu Ulm, Germany. Vietnam Era vet.
I enlisted when I was 17 in 1971 and volunteered for Nam. Told I was too young and they were withdrawing troops. Many of the guys I served with in Germany were reassigned from Nam. Here's to them and my best friend Gordy! |

I am not exactly sure where he was stationed at, but when we asked we were told not to ask. But his name was Nicholas Summerlin and he was from Florida. His plane went down under attack, we suspect he was on a mission of some sort by the lack of response other than that. It was younger and was not told much, heck the family was not told much about it. |
