I had problems with disrespect from 2 of my 3 way younger boyfriends. What is up with that? While it is somewhat comforting to read about it happening to other women also - so I know it's not just somethng about ME.....it is disheartening to hear that it is so prevalent.

I am thinking that perhaps it has become more socially acceptable because of things like some of the ***** rap music they listen to, the disrespectful speech that has been the norm on televised conversations for their generation on sitcoms....examples such as those. To me, those things are issues, but to our guys they may seem like normal stuff, part of their subculture unless they are taught diffrently.

Or, maybe they think they can get away with more with us because older women are more tolerant. To that I'd say it's a mistake to take me for granted..... ask my last and most recent ex........
