Topic: Ever Have A Real Life Stalker? | |

I like the 30 Rock episode when Jenna is heartbroken that her stalker has moved on, so she goes to his work and begs for an explanation. Not to mention her flashback scene of all of the creepy stuff he does with the sad music playing over it.

Ah, perfect timing! I have this situation... Years ago, I had a poetry blog under a pseudonym, though I did get some invitations to have them published on some magazine to some countries I never even bothered to find out. Anyway, I deleted that blog on an emotional whim and never thought about it after. A couple of days ago, I got an email on my Face Book from a guy I don't know asking if I were the author of the said blog because he was a fan. This would have been flattering if it weren't for the fact that I never used my real name in that blog and aside from 2 friends who knows how to keep their mouths shut, nobody else knew I was the author. Honestly, I got kind of creeped out. Answering his message seems like a catch 22, though I'm dying of curiosity. What do you think I should do about it? That is creepy. Thanks for noticing. Yeah, it is creepy and I just chose to ignore the message. Hopefully, he'd give up on the matter. ****** Happy Mother's Day to all mothers! |

I had one once...he died. Weird when your stalker dies. No, thank god. Being in law enforcement for as long as I have, I have seen how a stalker (a real stalker....people tend to use that term loosely nowadays) can destroy someone's life. I'm glad yours is gone now, Lori. It's not funny to have a stalker. |

Who doesn't like getting texts/calls at 3AM during the work week asking what they're doing or if it would be a problem to come over and take a shower?
And then when you don't respond, the barrage intensifies because you're ignoring her, not sleeping like a normal person who has to go to work at 6 AM. Nah, couldn't be, right? It was like clock work, every two weeks on a Tuesday or Thursday and always later than 2AM. Crazy lady, but I wouldn't call her a stalker. Just about annoying as you can get, though. |

I had one once...he died. Weird when your stalker dies. Same thing happened to the man who stalked me for 4 years...shot in the back as he fled a violent invasion of his home. Although he brought only fear, anger and annoyance to my life, I felt kind of sorry for him when I heard of how he died. He died as he had lived, and never had much joy in his life...ever. His death, however, brought peace to mine. Sad to think that the only good he ever gave came because of his death. |
