These movies are awesome. The most recent one I saw was How to train a dragon in IMAX 3D. I took my nieces and we all loved it.

Another excellent one is The Polar Express.

The first and last one I saw was Monster's Inc. I loved the trailers - especially the one when Mike had toilet paper on his foot! I haven't seen any other because, since they are "kid" movies, they always have children in the storyline. I am not interested in kids and I don't get issues regarding kids. They lose me. I wanted to see ‘UP’ - but again – kid. The talking dog collar was hilarious! “Squirrel! Hi!” I wish they would make an adult-type comedy Pixar movie. Sort of like a Happy Gilmore or Dumb and Dumber. I would spend ALL of my allowance at the movies! Personally I think UP is more than just a kids movie. The movie is great entertainment for kids, but the message is clearly aimed for adults, IMO. As long as it isn't cutesy kids movies I have no problem with films aimed for younger audiences- and with films that Pixar puts out they don't just cater to children, many of the jokes are aimed for a lot older audiences. I do agree though I would like to see a PG-13 or even an R-rated CG animated film...not sure of what animation style they are using but there is supposedly a new sequel to Heavy Metal in the works. I understand what you are saying ... but there is still a KID in the movie. I don't watch movies with children in the plot, or on the screen. I love the adult humor! I know many of the lines are geared toward an adult audience! Then, they sneak a kid on screen .... |

Children At Play where the adults kill off the children |

I love the movie Nighmare on Elm Street but the backstory of Freddy is frightening to parents - even in a fictional movie. I know you are joshing though! |
