Topic: The Philosophy Of Cartoons | |

Do you owe some of your acquired knowledge of human behavior from watching cartoons?

Probably too much............

I was just letting out the dog and the cat came in. First time I experienced that event was watching the Flintstones. One would have to see Dino as the dog and the sabertooth tiger as the cat to properly visualize that. Of course, I don't remember the saber tooth tiger as being given a name.

Yogi Bear was a fav of mine.
Always a step ahead of Ranger Smith. What an operator! "He will sleep till noon but before it's dark he'll have every picnic basket that's in Jellystone park." |

Yosemite and Bugs Bunny. This town isn't big enough for the two of us. Bugs puts up skyscrapers and the like. Sam says it still isn't big enough. Then they get out the guns and Bugs comes up with a pea shooter.

I learned from Charlie Brown to never give up

My friend pointed out that he feels the plight of Wile E. Coyote was not his blind persistence, but rather that he never tried the same idea twice. It was always like... "Hey, the one rocket didn't work. I need boulders!"

I'm still looking for the place that sells that special paint the Roadrunnner used to paint those 'movable holes' on the side of the cliff or on the ground ... those were SO cool ...
